I found I have certain kind of Norwegian identity. I feel great to talk with Norwegian. It is always open and with full respect. Norwegian could make people feel normal is good.
I also love Japanese lifestyle and caring attitude.
People also say individualism and autonomy define US cultural identity.

how i interprete "governance"
I would like to offer my personal idea and little hope. Overall, my sort of ideal governance and society is a "social unit" which all differences of each individual are respected and each individual is granted rights to curiosity. People are not trained to be an ABLE person (highly educated and skilled slaved labour or robot in my definition) to serve the needs of economy and society, but are granted the rights to curiosity and the governmental economic policies perform to ensure people's dignity of being true self but from being hungry. Meanwhile, on a global stage, to show the sincere and concrete love and help to people on the other sides of the earth. I am searching for the measures and methods to deal with it by learning governance.
Good governance in my interpretation is ensuring a society with nine principles as the following, Peace, Love, Freedom, Tolerance, Unity, Harmony, Expression, Responsibility and Respect. I cannot be sure if all of them are universal values or are different culturally. Besides those key factors for good governance mentioned in the class and the PowerPoint, I would like to offer my own idea “Exercise of Governmental Authority” which is greatly neglected in governance. A proper exercise of governmental authority could secure a society and citizens but an improper exercise could cause another form of social control by certain ideology. Particularly when it comes to several controversial social issues and social minorities, the exercise of governmental authority is tremendously important. Controversial issues such as obscenity law, legalisation of adultery, pornography, age of consent, paternalism, honour killing, intergenerational equity etc. and social minorities such as LGBT & BDSM communities, indigenous peoples, sex workers, immigrants etc. A proper use of governmental authority could ensure a society and citizens more than just free from discrimination but also free from isolation, marginalisation, stigmatisation, and criminalisation in a social context. And here I would like to address another idea but I am not sure if it’s directly linked to governance but at least it is to me. It’s an African political ideology called “Ubuntu” literally translated as “I am because you are” and I think it is an important philosophy to make a good governance.
